General Support

To use Lectopia you must have the appropriate software installed on your computer. This includes an appropriate Web Browser and the required Media Player software. Use the links in the following sections to ensure your computer is setup for Lectopia.

Web Browser

Lectopia has been validated against the following web browsers for both Windows and Macintosh computers. Other web browsers and platforms have not necessarily been tested.

• Firefox
• Microsoft Internet Explorer
• Safari

Media Player

Lectopia requires that a media player be installed on your computer. A few different media players are available for download. The actual media player software that you require will depend on the Lectopia formats that are available.

• Check your media player configuration now
• QuickTime v7 or higher is the recommended media player - check your QuickTime version
• Media players can be downloaded free of charge from the web sites - click the corresponding icon

Other Software

• Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for accessing PowerPoint PDF files.
